Unfortunately missed two that I'd have liked to meet :( I think the on-line part of it is great but it falls down trying to arrange meetings etc once on-site. As you don't really know the layout (will be easier next year!) perhaps there could be defined per floor/area AUC meeting spots to make it easier to find people. "Meet you at AUC1 - between session xy" type thing. Also wonder if the AUC should be integrated into AU Registration with an opt out, rather than opt in model. This was my second AU and was much richer in terms of networking for me after being active in AUGI forums over the past year. I met a ton of people I see posting regularly. Perhaps AU Connect could be opened pre-registration for potential attendees? I think it needs more time between when it opens and the actual AU. I think it's a great idea with lots of potential. I did browse around a bit but looking at the forum activity, it did look a bit "dead". There was much more activity in the AUGI forums. I think perhaps it should be integrated in AUGI and also serve to promote AUGI membership. I know I'd use it much more often. I totally agree about the AUGI comments. I'd suggest doing it again next year, for additional exposure may well be just what AU Connect needs to really start connecting people.
