Autodesk University 2006

Pecha Kucha at AU

Posted by Joseph Wurcher on November 29, 2006

Just a few hours ago, I had now idea what Pecha Kucha was, and the explanation that in Japanese, it means “the sound of conversation” did not mean much to me.  The idea behind it is that interesting presenters have 20 PPT slides and speak to each slide for 20 seconds.  Carl Bass was one of the presenters and most of his slides were about wood projects he has been working on it over the years.  His woodturing bowls were very beautiful and I am sure he could make quit a bundle if he were ever to sell them at the Autodesk employee Christmas bazar.  Check out the pictures.
