Looking for MA#3

Final round of looking for Mystery Agent # 3 was started today in AU Connect. This time I got some outside help – and it seems pretty difficult to me. Here is the opening…
Mystery agent #3 is not a famous undercover spy. That’s the first clue. The work that made him famous was very much above board, though he was not above using wiretapping to further his goals. His later life was marked by an incident that was seen as ironic, considering his claim to fame.
