First Day of AU Registration!

Oh what a day.  We opened registration at 10 am today and by 2pm or so the site was hit over 20,000 times.   I am afraid many will have noticed that the site was “not up to speed”.  Almost 5pm now and volume on the site is normal.  We are getting some feedback that getting “into” the site is not totally logical and will be making adjustments.

    I am at the AU site, but can’t find a place to actually register.
    Please advise

    The speaker passcode that I received is not working for me. The registration site says it is an invalid passcode. Is everyone having the same problem?

    Steve – select a campus (any campus) first – and then you will have more options, including the link to register. You have access to all classes from any campus – and you can change campus at any time.

    Hi Jim,

    We don’t have discount for returning attendees this year. However, there is an AUGI discount out there you might be able to use. AUGI CADCamp attendees get a $150 discount – check the AUGI website. If a Camp is coming to your area, check it out.

    Hope you can make it to AU this year.

    any idea why 2 weeks into the start of registration, the venetian is closed? i thought i could still catch a slot since it is still 3 months to the actual event. i wonder what the ratio of rooms have been reserved between the venetian and flamingo. im waitlisted but was wondering if i will ever get a chance in that list. also any chance of increasing the number of rooms in the venetian for the event?

    Hi Danny,

    We had approx 3000 rooms at the Venetian – and of last week we have close to 3500 registrations. We contracted all the rooms we could get from the Venetian.

    We will add ground transportation between the Flamingo and the conference center to make it all more convenient. It is only a 15-20min walk.
